4 stars for the perfect dive bar yet surprisingly not. Karaoke Thursday's and dollar mugs of Rolling Rick make this place a winner.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon after hiking a chunk of the Appalachian Trail. We were kind of grunged and didn't want anything too fancy. No worries here. As previous posters stated, the bar had the only activity. Again , this can't be a good sign. The main dining room was closed and there was no one eating at the few tables near the bar. The "Please wait to be seated" sign seemed unnecessary. The barmaid after a minute said Hi. We took a look around and opted to skip it altogether.

Great steaks and bar food with good service and great prices. We had a party of 8 and were served very quickly. Can't wait for spring so I can sit outside and enjoy the view.

First time at Bogies and i really like the atmosphere. Its a post and beam construct w a nice fireplace, salad bar and a vacant bar in the dining room. Pub side had a nice bar, a couple of pool tables and a small stage for live music. Menu was pretty small but the sirloin, tho a little pricey, was very very good. Wait staff was tentive and friendly. Overall a good experience. Will def go again.

I've eaten here twice. The first time I got a prime rib dinner which was pretty decent. I think it was just my BF and I in the dining room so service was quick. The second time I came here I ordered the beef goulash or something like that. I don't remember the exact name of what I ordered but it literally looked like they emptied a can of alpo dog food in the plate and melted some cheese on top of it. Horrible... it looked reguritated. The driving range in the back was nice, good way to kill some time

It's a 2-star place IMO, but I gave it 3 because the hubby likes it. When he and his race car buddies are coming home from Lime Rock, they appreciate Bogie's parking area, because they can maneuver their trailers into it. Hard to catch a bite to eat when you're hauling 4 race cars behind you. Anyway, we stopped with the kids the other night and were the only patrons in the dining area. The bar was populated, but no one was eating. Not a great sign in my book. Salad bar was nothing to write home about. Even 10-year-old looked around forlonly, asking "where are the carrots?" Burgers and fries were good. Steak looked like a thick pancake, but child eating it said it was fine. Scrod was OK. Baked potato was gray. Vegetables were surprisingly inspired. We didn't stay for dessert.

We had our hopes up to try out this great BBQ joint near Abby's parent's house in Great Barrington called Route 7 Grill. Sadly, it was 3:30 on a Saturday and it was between lunch and dinner so we were out of luck there. Down the street was Boggies, a bar that Abby used to frequent often in her younger years. On it's premise was a driving range, which I thought was pretty neat. Too bad the rest of the bar wasn't as neat. It was cheap, I'll give it that. But the food was medicore and the service was a little slow, especially since there was only us 4 and a group of people watching the World Cup. The driving range and the games in the back adds 1/2 a point and I give Boggies a 2 and 1/2 out of 5.
